Is it so bad to buy a puppy from a breeder? There is such hype these days about "adopt, don't buy" that people who buy a pedigree puppy is frowned upon for doing it. Good breeders are improving their breed. It is the cross breeds that land up in shelters. A very small percentage of pedigree dogs land up in a rescue shelter. A good breeder will take back a dog that was bred by them, unlike cross breeds which are sold to pet shops or even worse dumped. So I don't want to be judged because I
